A Makeup Collection Inspired By Cruella de Vil
This is not the first time that MAC Cosmetics is collaborating with Disney for a makeup collection. But this is the first collection dedicated to “101 Dalmatians” villainess Cruella de Vil.
The collection, which has 12 products including six lipsticks, has a funky black, white and red special packaging.
The collection is a range of punk-rock reds and haute metallic hues, drawing inspiration from the Disney film "Cruella" starring Emma Stone set in ’70s London at the height of the punk rock era.
“It’s high glam with plenty of attitude, brought to a new generation,” said Terry Barber, MAC Director of Makeup Artistry. “With there being such a huge trend for recycling the more niche counterculture moments of previous decades, this collection feels like MAC returning to a celebration of the kind of DIY styling and brave transformation that originally made it such a maverick brand."
The collection includes an eyeshadow palette that can be separated into four pieces. The color palette has hues of blue, black and silver in matte, satin and frost textures.
There’s a Powder Blush Duo in bright pink and neutral shimmery peach.
There's a Dual-Ended Pro Longwear Eye Liner and false lashes.
And two black and white brushes.
There are three Matte Lipsticks and three high-impact Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour, in a total of six shades that range from a light pink, bright red and a deep blood.
