Bobbi Brown launches new beauty line
Makeup artist Bobbi Brown founded a beauty empire with 10 natural lipstick shades. The brand DNA of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics is that makeup should enhance one's facial features instead of change them through contouring and highlighting.
In 2016, Bobbi Brown stepped down from Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, which is now owned by The Estee Lauder Companies Inc.
In October 2020, she launched Jones Road Beauty, which was founded on the idea that every product should be a hero product.
The products are meant to be used in a number of ways. For instance, Miracle Balm can be applied as a bronzer, lip color, corrector or eyeshadow. It adds a bit of color, moisture and reflects light. This comes in Tawny, Au Naturel, Bronze and, the bestseller, Dusty Rose.
The range also includes a mascara, lip glosses, Sparkle Wash for the eyelids, an eye pencil and a shadow for the eyes.
Jones Road seeks to redefine the no-makeup makeup look with products that are easy to use. The sensibility is kind of like Glossier but more accommodating toward all skin tones and different ages of the people who want to use it. They employ models who are not young anymore and not every model is from a cookie-cutter mold.
All products have been formulated in accordance with European Union ingredient safety standards. Everything was made with clean ingredients, including jojoba seed oil, argan oil, shea butter and vitamin E.
Prices range from $22 for the plumping lip gloss to $68 for a kit that includes the lip gloss, eye gloss, eyeshadow and eyeliner.
New products, such as a foundation stick and skincare, will be launched soon.
Jones Road products are available only on the brand’s e-commerce site, jonesroadbeauty.com
