Our Favorite Beauty Looks at the 2017 Met Gala
Not everybody was looking at the gowns during the Met Gala honoring designer Rei Kawakubo. Some of us were more interested in the hair and makeup because of this year's theme. We saw a lot of dramatic looks on the red carpet and we kind of missed Lady Gaga. Imagine what she would have come up with!
Some trends we saw were monochromatic colors for eyes, lips and cheeks; glowing skin, thanks to bronzers and highlighter; 50 shades of nude for the lips and lots of false eyelashes.
Rihanna
Rih was bold and beautiful on the red carpet, once again claiming her throne as queen of the Met Gala following the theme every year. Her face was abloom with fuchsia blush and eyeshadow and berry lips. Her hair was swept up in a knot on top of her head.
Zendaya
For Zendaya, it was go big or go home. Her hair was worn lose and curled tightly. It was huge and fabulous. She kept everything else simple--coral on her eyes, lips and cheeks.

Lily Collins
Lily Collins paid tribute to Rei Kawakubo with her bob. Her bangs were cute way above her strong brows. Her choice of lipstick? Black! Oh, and she wore exaggerated falsies.

Kylie and Kendall
Kylie Jenner went platinum for the Met Gala. She wore a smokey eye, strong brows and nude lipstick. Her sister Kendall had her black hair curled. Her makeup was sleek and simple. The highlight of her beauty look was her red lipstick!
