Actress Taraji Henson and her Empire co-star Jussie Smollett are the faces of Viva Glam 2017, a campaign that donates 100% of its proceeds toward helping those living with or affected by AIDS or HIV.

The two-piece Viva Glam collection includes a matte fuchsia lipstick and a shimmery fuchsia Lip Glass, both encased in pretty pink tubes adorned with Henson's signature.

Among the celebrities who have graced MAC Cosmetics' Viva Glam campaign are RuPaul, Cyndi Lauper, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Ricky Martin, Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus.

Chinese fashion designer Min Liu, founder of the brand Ms. Min, is teaming up with MAC for a makeup collection that's predominantly red. Red, peony and metallics are key themes in the collection.

"Energy, like beauty in fashion, flows and shifts over time," said Min in a press release. "I find fashion and beauty to be the collision of personal expression of self, today being different than tomorrow, capturing our ying and yang, and the discovery of our quiet and our riot."

Another new release from MAC is a foundation called Next to Nothing Face Colour, a formula "that gives more of a dimensional texture to the skin, rather than a lot of coverage, so you have more control over where you want your texture and coverage to be."

We have never tried Next to Nothing so this description sounds very, very interesting.

MAC Next to Nothing Face Colour is "a liquid face color of light texture that creates an intangible yet nontransparent coating. This hybrid product combines hydrating actions, primer characteristics and foundation tone, ensuring a flawless looking skin. It can be used under foundation to prepare the skin and to create a dewy and refreshed look. With a low pigment load and high optic components, it is perfect for a natural look."

It comes in the following shades:
• Light - pale ivory
   •   Light Plus - light beige
   •   Medium - warm beige
   •   Medium Plus - light beige tan
   •   Medium Dark - caramel beige
   •   Medium Deep - golden tan
   •   Dark - caramel
   •   Dark Plus - neutral beige tan
   •   Dark Deep - rich golden bronze
