How many articles have you read about male and female celebrities having huge disparities in the talent fees they get despite basically having the same level or role? Countless. Regardless of this, we are proud of the female icons who have continued to persevere and work hard to build up their career so much that their names alone have become millions-worth.
To give tribute to these inspirations, here are our favorite movies from the world's highest paid actresses of 2018:
Top 10: Gal Gadot ($10 Million or about PHP 533.8 Million)

This one is obvious. Of course, our favorite movie starring this Israeli beauty would be Wonder Woman. We once poured our hearts out for this one and we'll never get tired of doing it.
Gal got the goods well and good that this project along with a Revlon endorsement introduced her in the list for the very first time. Good on her!
Top 9: Melissa McCarthy ($12 Million or about PHP 640.6 Million)

Melissa McCarthy is most definitely one of the funniest, most authentic comedians out there. She has so much funny movies - both lead and supporting roles - but our favorite has to be The Boss.
Melissa's $12 million paycheck came from her new projects The Happytime Murders and the more serious, Can You Ever Forgive Me? where we'll see her in another light.

Alluring and mysterious, Cate Blanchett has taken on role after role that never failed to surprise us. Our favorite just has to be Manifesto. Released in 2015 and directed and written by Julian Rosefeldt, this multi-awarded masterpiece of a movie fully showcased Cate's acting prowess.
Cate got in the list this year thanks to her projects: The House with a Clock in Its Walls and her role as Marvel's first female villain, Hela, in Thor: Ragnarok.

Ever so popular because of her infectiously glorious smile, Julia Roberts proves her undying beauty and iconicness as she makes it on this list. We can't even just give one favorite Julia Roberts movie so we're doing two - Erin Brockovich and Eat, Pray, Love.

Who doesn't even know Reese Witherspoon? We basically grew up watching her movies and see her evolve into different characters but our favorite, without a doubt, are the uber iconic Legally Blonde 1 and 2.
Reese has proven herself to be a one-of-a-kind actress getting several nominations and a heck of a lot of awards. Thanks to Big Little Lies Season 2 where she allegedly gets paid $1 million an episode and her movie earnings which comprise half of her paycheck, she graces the top 5 of this list.

Young and powerful - that's just who Jennifer Lawrence is. She is such a notable character in every movie so we can't just choose one favorite as well but we're torn between Silver Linings Playbook and Joy where she deservingly won an Academy Award and Golden Globes.
With her hard work and pure talent, Jennifer deserves to be on this list. Thanks to her X-Men movies and continuous Dior contract too.

There's two Jennifers on this list and now we realize how amazing Brad Pitt is when it comes to choosing women.
Several generations know her as Rachel from Friends. And sure, she may or may not have been criticized as an actress who can only do one character style when it comes to acting but Jennifer Aniston is probably chilling in her gorgeous mansion laughing at us peasants. Our favorite Jennifer Aniston movie has to be We're the Millers.
We're not sure if Jen Aniston is currently working on projects but thanks to her endorsements with Emirates Airlines, Smartwater, and Aveeno, our girl is raking in mega cash enough to place her on the top 3.

We don't even know how to begin describing Angelina Jolie. A household name, humanitarian, multi-awarded and nominated actress, filmmaker, mom of many kids, and more, with her busy schedule, you'd even wonder how Angelina has time to manage all the things on her plate. This among many other reasons is why we love her and as such, we love so much of her films too. She's simply too iconic. Our favorite Angelina Jolie movies are Tomb Raider, Wanted, Salt, and Maleficent.
Try to imagine how she gets paid: She makes it to the top 2 of this list because of her pay check for Maleficent 2 ALONE. She's become such a legend that she can simply ask for double-digit millions for a major role just like that. I mean, #goals.

Before she kicked ass in films, ScarJo was a part of several other genres of movies which only shows how talented she is. Our favorite movies of hers are definitely Lucy and Her (where we felt her so much even if she was just a voice).
Thanks to her iconic role as Black Widow in Marvel's Avengers and the consistent success of this blockbuster series of films, ScarJo earns her rightful spot at number one.
