A Modern Supermom-to-be: Getting to Know Kylie Padilla
It's no surprise that young actress Kylie Padilla is so beautiful. Her father is Robin Padilla and her mother is Liezel Sicangco, who are both lookers.
Her relatives in showbusiness include Zsa Zsa Padilla, Daniel Padilla and Bela Padilla.
But more than her looks, Kylie is special because of other things. Here's why we think she's this month's #SheroOfUpsize.
She loves makeup.
I mean, we all do, right? At least most of us do.
"When I was younger, my Tita Mariel (Padilla) gave me a full set of MAC makeup. That was really awesome."
She has a YouTube channel with over 64,000 followers.
In her channel, Kylie talks about makeup, poetry and her life.
"The channel is on hiatus right now though."
Kylie does martial arts, specifically Muay Thai.
You can't mess with this girl.
"Papa sent me to Thailand to study Muay Thai for three months."
She is going to be a mom soon.
"I'm very excited. We're (referring to her boyfriend Aljur Abrenica) very excited. I've been asking my mom for pregnancy and mothering tips. She said I should give birth normally and breastfeed my baby as long as I can."
She grew up in Australia but she remains very Pinoy.
"Papa didn't want us to speak with accents. He said he wanted us to be down to earth."
Kylie said she's wanted to be a mom since she was 17. That doesn't mean she wasn't surprised when she confirmed her pregnancy.
"I kind of knew already. I just wanted to confirm it."
She and her older sister Queenie will be giving birth at around the same time.
"I am happy that my baby will have a playmate!"
She is a Watsons Switch and Save endorser.
"I always remember my sisters when I see Watsons because shopping there is one of our favorite bonding moments. Right now, I go there for my vitamins and Bio-Oil which Iya (Villania) said is good for stretch marks."
