Did Son Ye-jin Wear 7 Gowns On Her Wedding Day?

The wedding of Korean superstars Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin yesterday was like an A-listers ball, with guests that included Gong Yoo, Ha Ji-won, Ji Jin-hee, Jang Dong-gun, Gong Hyo-jin and Girls' Generation's Yoona.

According to Twitter user @__ekleona, the 200 guests feasted on caviar, sea urchin roe, beef tenderloin, lobster and truffle potato mash in an eight-course dinner at Grand Walkerhill Seoul's Aston House.

Aston House was named after the royal mansion Aston Hall built in Birmingham, England during the 17th century.

The lovely bride was seen wearing six, possibly seven, wedding dresses yesterday, including a Vera Wang and an Ellie Saab in a shoot. The photos from the shoot were released to the public hours ahead of the afternoon wedding. For the shoot, the dashing groom wore Tom Ford.

Son Ye-jin walked down the aisle, reportedly on the arm of her father, in a Mira Zwillinger gown. The luxury brand based in Tel Aviv is led by mother-daughter fashion designers Mira and Lihi Zwillinger.

Son Ye-jin was later spotted in a floor-length yellow dress for the reception.

The actress is also a brand ambassador for Valentino and the Italian luxury house posted her photo in a tulle wedding gown to congratulate the newlyweds.

There are two more unaccounted for gowns, one of them seen in a picture frame reportedly displayed during the reception.

Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin are believed to have fallen in love on the set of the hit Korean drama “Crash Landing On You,” which was about a South Korean heiress (Son Ye-jin) who accidentally lands in North Korea straight into the arms of a handsome military officer (Hyun Bin).

Before CLOY, the couple co-starred in the crime thriller film “The Negotiation” in 2018.

In January 2021, the couple’s respective agencies announced that they were together.

"The two became intimate friends as co-stars and developed such intimacy into a romantic relationship after the drama ['Crash Landing On You'] wrapped,” said VAST Entertainment.

MS Team Entertainment, the agency for Son Ye-jin, also confirmed that the pair are in a relationship.

After that, Son Ye-jin wrote on her Instagram account, “I’m grateful that I could meet such a good person. I will make efforts to nurture [the relationship] well and beautifully.”

On February 2022, the engagement was announced.
