We Tried Vice Cosmetics Lipsticks and Here's Our Honest Review
If anything, Vice Cosmetics has proven that ganda is indeed for all as its website stocks have already been sold out in less than a month since its launch last 28 September. Naturally, we wanted to jump in the beauty hype especially since the products are beautifully packaged and unbelievably cheap.
Luckily, we still found some stocks over at BeautyMNL and got one color from each collection as part of our crazy, random haul (that we got really quickly! Thanks, BeautyMNL team!)
As frequent readers may know, we love both a bold and nude lip so we got the Phenomenal Lip Kit in Showtime and the Good Vibes Matte Lipstick in Hayabayabayu for a good mix.
Packaging is simple and really pretty. Our eyes are immediately glued to the metallic fuchsia pink containers and very nice, premium-looking box.
The Good Vibes Matte Lipstick doesn't come in a box but the lip kit does and it looks nothing short of fab complete with Vice Ganda's personal note to the customer.
Phenomenal Lip Kit in Showtime
Vice Ganda did some homework. Packaging is gorgeous and could be at par with its pricier counterparts. For only P 295, you wouldn't be expecting much but we're telling you, go ahead and do just that.
The lip kit is so good, you can't remove it without the help of a makeup remover. You literally can't smudge it because It dries completely matte. If you don't have well-scrubbed lips, you'd have to expect a little chapping here and there but in all fairness, the quality is pretty good. The product doesn't even transfer so much!
The applicator isn't bad either and the lip liner glides real smooth. We think P 295 is a good deal for a very highly pigmented lip liner and color. When we wore this, it really is Showtime!
It has a very sexy and velvety finish too!
We're giving this a 4 out of 5 + a bit of regret that we only got one color.
Good Vibes Matte Lipstick in Hayabayabayu
The color immediately caught my attention. Hayabayabayu is a light coral nude color perfect for everyday use. The lipstick is easy to apply and smells like chocolate. We're also loving the full on metallic container.
The color is buildable and very gorgeous. It's the kind of nude that wouldn't make you look like you're sick but actually fresh kind of nude. For a matte finish lipstick, the Good Vibes Matte isn't drying at all.
There is definitely some transfer when we sipped on our paper straws but we seriously don't mind. This lipstick is giving us no-makeup makeup look vibes and are very smooth to apply.
We're giving this a 5 out of 5 for the chic color and smooth feel.
