It’s so hot and to be honest, any makeup will slide off your face. I mean, we always say groomed brows are life and we stand by that but if you can have them waxed or threaded (try Browhaus (around Php 700) and Lay Bare (around Php 100) for threading and Benefit (around Php700), then all you need to do is comb them in the morning.

So what do you use to fix your brows? Any spoolie with a brush will do.

Okay, we know what you’re saying. Almost 1k for a brow spoolie with a brush on the other end? Think of it this way: You will use it forever.

For a less pricey alternative, check out Marionnaud N'38 slanted eyeline and eyebrow double side brush. This is available for less than Php 100 (we got ours for Php 89.95 in 2015) at any Watsons or SM Beauty Store.

So what is the second step?

A face base with sunscreen, of course. Ideally, you’d want something with pore blurring properties. You should also look for a base that doesn’t have flashback so you don’t look like a ghost in photographs.

Our favorite is the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream SPF 50+. This product is a favorite. It has a 5-in-1 claim—moisturizes, protects, primes, conceals and offers coverage.
At around Php 2,400 (nearest available store is Sephora Singapore), this CC cream isn’t cheap.
