5 Beauty Products We've Been Constantly Lusting On
We're all for the upsized life experiences but we gotta be upsize-ly honest as well - we can't always get nice things. To get this goal, we always make sure that we prioritize things well to maintain our lifestyle.
Hooooweveeerr... There will always be products that tease us into wanting to get our grabby hands on them just because they're too pretty for life. I mean, #goals wouldn't be invented if it weren't for these desires.
So here's our list of 8 beauty products we wish we had but we don't *sad*.
Nearly Everything SK-II
The first thing you'd see when you visit SK-II's website is freaking Cate Blanchett's face. If that doesn't scream premium, then I don't know what else does. SK-II is a Japanese skin care brand that boasts products filled with natural ingredients that brings miracles to the skin (and their packaging looks so gorgeous).
And they're so EXPENSIVE. Now, note we said expensive not *pricey* cause technically, anyone with the purchasing power can afford this but right now, it's literally out of our budget. So in the meantime, we'll be lusting on these some more because skin care is #LYF.
For Your Nails Only Polish
That is literally the name of the brand - For Your Nails Only. So don't expect to put the product anywhere else. But just look at how gorgeous the colors are OMG.
They're not a household name unlike your usual Opi and Essence and Jessica because you can only get For Your Nails Only in freaking Scotland. And because it is a Scottish, indie brand. Yep. You have to reach far for these polishes. And they're so hard to get even now as we're typing, their website is down until 4th of June for holiday. WHYYYYY???
We're loving their products because they're out of the ordinary. But in the meantime, we'll be lusting on them simply because it's so hard to get your hands on one of the polishes.
*Yeah so we're waiting 'til their site is back too. So while waiting, check them out on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
Glossier Makeup
Alright. We're pretty sure you've heard of Glossier and at least tried to pronounce their brand (it's GLO-SEEYUR, not GLO-SEEYAY - girl, it ain't French).
Claiming to be a beauty brand inspired by real life, Glossier offers a whole bunch of skin products but we're just dying to get our hands on some makeup! They have a wide variety of shades to choose from and keeps true to their minimalist vibe by offering only the main essentials.
The hype for Glossier didn't get so big in the Philippines and we're both happy and sad about it cause 1.) you can't really just buy them when you want to ~sad~, and 2.) there seemed to be not too much fake replicas of the product going around ~happy~.
We're so in love and lust with this brand because of their beautiful, minimalist packaging and really good quality of products. But in the meantime, we'll stick to drooling over them online cause it's so difficult to get a legit product cause they don't even ship to here *ugly cries*.
We're linking you BeautyMNL, Calyxta, and The Makeup Bar Manila's page but we're not holding assurance for the current availability of Glossier products.
Real Techniques Complete Brush Set
You can't be crazy about makeup without being crazy about your tools. We'll keep this one nice and simple - we love Real Technique brushes because they last long and apply product really well which you probably already all know.
We're lusting over the whole set but can't get them because they're usually not all available + can be a little too expensive. We just want to get the whole existing set. Is that even so difficult to get? To be real though, there's so much brushes. *more ugly crying*
Tom Ford Beauty
We just have two words for this - TOM. FORD. It's ultimately designer so this is definitely something we can just end up lusting on. It's all possible words for beautiful and divine and gorgeous but at the same time, not only are the collections expensive, they're legit PRICEY! And thank goodness they're not easily available locally because we might just end up not paying rent for a month or something.
Sometimes, you know, you just can't afford P 4,000+ foundations and P 5,000+ bronzers cause it's just not practical.
