We're Curiously in Love with Pennywise the Dancing Clown and We Bet You Will Be Too

This September, Halloween came early.

Any Stephen King work is a gem and “It” is probably one of his most popular ones so it’s not surprising that the movie remake from the miniseries of the novel is kicking in the box office.  If you’re still wondering whether a run to the cinema is worth it, you should probably get to know the man behind Pennywise the Dancing Clown - Bill Skarsgård.

Yes, believe it or not the villain in the story is one of the highlights of the film. It says a lot about an actor when he can perform a role once done well. Surpassing expectations, Skarsgård as the terrifying clown Pennywise may just star in your next nightmare.

Born on 09 August 1990, the hunky actor revealed to Conan O’Brien last Tuesday that his brother Gustaf, also an actor, was the first one who can do the downturned lip trait that is now a patented Pennywise creepy smile.

Anyone who has seen Skarsgård without the make-up will unequivocally say that the 6’3” actor is hot, but did you know that he is the shortest in a brood of seven brothers? He is the son of the notable actor Stellan Skarsgård and younger brother to Alexander and Gustaf.

Coming from a family of actors, the Swedish-born model was once interested in becoming a doctor before deciding to follow the steps of his older brothers.

Entertainment magazine Variety did an interview with Skarsgard, and here the green-eyed actor mentioned how getting into the character of Pennywise was a lot of hard work, especially given the fact that it was Tim Curry who first played the part of the terrifying clown.
