Now it can be told, the Nike Flex Contact was created by a Filipino.

Kevin Reyes is a footwear designer who studied at the University of Sto. Tomas and graduated with a degree in Industrial Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, focusing on product design. He worked for Reebok and New Balance before joining Nike in 2015.

The Nike Flex Contact is a men’s running shoe that has a knit upper and a flexible outsole. The durable and stretchy material at the forefoot helps the wearer move his toes naturally. It has a soft IU sole for lightweight cushioning.

We looked at reviews of the shoe online.

“I bought these for my son and he loved them. He said they're so light that he felt like he was walking in the clouds,” said Gslpascual on famousfootwear.com.

“I am pretty loyal to the Nike brand when it comes to training shoes. These shoes are well suited for short outdoor runs and indoor workouts. They are very comfortable and breathe well. I've had many compliments about the color, too!” said LilJockSF.
