After relieving yourself in the bathroom always wipe and make sure everything is clean and as fresh as it can be, avoid contracting infections by taking extra precaution with your daily hygiene during your period.

You can get actual feminine wipes but if you want to make sure you're in tip top shape, any alcohol-free wipes should be good.

Pain Reliever Meds

When the pain becomes almost unbearable don’t fret and avoid the trouble of hunting down the nearest pharmacy by keeping your most trusted pain medications on hand. When even your medicine doesn’t seem to be doing the job of making the pain go away, consult with your OB-GYN to solve the problem while still in its early stages.

Vicks Vapor Rub

Need some cool relief in the tummy area? Vicks is a staple for most women in their bags and is a lifesaver when you’re on your period. Feel a headache coming through? Just apply some Vicks on your forehead and take a breather, or dap a small amount on your puson when it the pain becomes too constricting.

It’s no secret that when period time comes so do the unwanted breakouts that accompany it, put a stop to it before it becomes a zit party on your face by applying some benzoyl peroxide on the blemish.
