Belle Mariano Talks About Style, Beauty, And Her Fashion Capsule Collection
Shein has launched its first celebrity capsule collection in the Philippines with their first Filipino brand ambassador Belle Mariano, an award-winning young actress.
Belle, who was introduced by Shein as their first Philippines brand ambassador in October 2022, has put together a collection featuring a mix of versatile and stylish pieces of dresses, tops, shorts, pants, and skirts in feminine, floral prints, and pastel colors that are suitable for all occasions.
Named the #SHEINxBelleMariano collection, the outfits reflect Belle’s personal style of bold experimentation of trends with classic looks. The collection also includes a variety of bags, shoes and accessories to complement the outfits.
At the launch event at Seltsam, Belle shared with fans, fashion influencers and media partners about her experience working with Shein for her first fashion collaboration and her inspiration behind the collection.
“I was inspired by the free-spirited feeling of summer when curating the collection. Because of my busy schedule, I wanted pieces that can bring me from day to night, to wear to all occasion, depending on how I style them. I can see myself wearing the outfits and accessories in the collection, which are versatile and I can easily go from a casual summer look to a dressy elegant style for the evening,” said Belle.
At the sidelines of the launch, we asked Belle about her style and beauty secrets.
“My fashion preferences depend on my mood and the event I am going to. If I’m feeling girly, I really wear a dress. If it’s a formal event, I would go for slacks or a more formal dress. It really depends on how I feel. I love shorts, denim ones that are high-waist and wide on the bottom,” said the young actress.
Belle admitted that growing up, she didn’t know what her style was and she’d always ask her mom to help her pick clothes to wear. She credits the people she has worked with, particularly stylist Adrianne Concepcion, with helping her find her own style.
As for makeup, Belle loves emphasizing her eyes with mascara and curled lashes.
“My makeup essentials are mascara, brow product, and blush. I also can’t live without an eyelash curler.
