Fully Integrated Resort Opens North Of Metro Manila
Hann Casino Resort in Clark, Pampanga hopes to attract tourists from China and Thailand once borders are open and people can travel more freely again. For now, it is banking on domestic tourism and on the desire of Filipinos to see new and beautiful places.
There is so much to see (and photograph) in the fully integrated resort North of Metro Manila.
Hann Casino Resort brought in world-class design solutions brand Aedas Interiors Limited HK, whose portfolio includes the Hong Kong International Airport Midfield Concourse and The Langham in Shenzhen, for the project.
“We want to prioritize environmental sustainability and quality guest experience. Westerners see gaming as part of entertainment while Asians go to casinos to gamble. At Hann Casino, we aim to provide a wholistic experience for gamers,” said Daesik Han, chairman and CEO of Hann Philippines Inc.
The interiors integrate Clark’s tropical forests and mountain landscapes so they may be opulent but are still familiar to locals while providing a new experience for foreign tourists.
The metallic facade is very modern but somehow fits right into its surroundings. Upon entering, the guests will see the impressive lobby with its maximalist clean lines and geometric forms that mirror the layers seen in nature. The timber veneer used for surfaces in that area also embodies Hann’s commitment to sustainability. The materials were sourced from sustainably managed forests and plantations.
The materials bear a Chain-of-Custody certification from the Forest Stewardship Council, meaning they came from responsibly managed sources. Paints meet green standards with the Singapore Green Building Product certification. Hann Casino also commits to minimal waste and energy efficiency.
Hann Casino is part of the bigger Hann Casino Resort development, the first fully integrated resort in Clark and one of the premium sub-brands under the master brand Hann Resorts together with Clark Marriott, Swissotel Clark and, in a few years, Mercure Hotel. The group has a sub-brand, Hann Lux Lifestyle Resort, that is currently in the planning stage.
Inside the expansive Hann Casino are baccarat tables and slot machines and three operational food and beverage outlets including “Nasi,” a restaurant that specializes in modern and traditional Filipino Cuisine; as well as a fast casual-style Asian food stop called “Spice.”
In the middle is a 360-degree “Bar 20,” which will entertain guests with musical numbers and other live acts aside from serving food and drinks.
The casino is limited to adults aged 21 and above but the resort is open to people of all ages. Guests are also expected to comply with COVID-19 health protocols and are urged to be vaccinated.
