Skincare Brand Fresh Formula To Close By Yearend

Local skincare brand Fresh Formula has announced that it will close its business by the end of the year to focus on sister brand Colourette Cosmetics. After two years of operations, Fresh Formula, known for its affordable, vegan, and cruelty-free formulations of skincare and personal care products, announced the decision via its Instagram account on September 29.

The news was met with feelings of dismay and shock by fans of the brand, which is very popular because of its underarm set, Sgt. At Arms Lightening Duo. The set includes a whitening cream and what is considered one of the best deodorant sprays in the market.

Within its two-year stint it released face sets, skin mists, and their best-selling underarm set, Sgt. At Arms Lightening Duo, garnering beauty awards and top ranks in local and overall personal care categories.

Fresh Formula was one of the first local brands to promote even and healthy skin tones over whitening products. They celebrated their second birthday in July 2021.

The brand will cease its operations and fans of Fresh Formula will have until December 31, 2021 to purchase their favorite skincare products until then. *Operations may end earlier depending on stock availability but customer service will remain to answer queries.

The brand said it will focus on its sister brand, Colourette Cosmetics, known for its multi-use lip tints.

What follows is Fresh Formula’s farewell letter:

Hey Glow Getter,

The last 2 years have been a wonderful ride of discovery, relearning, unlearning, and appreciating the beauty of our real skin and our own skin health. We wanted to thank all of you for welcoming these ideas with open arms and eyes, because we all know how difficult it is to be ourselves in this world. We also reflected upon all of our milestones, and we look back on everything with full hearts and gratitude.

So much has changed during the pandemic and we realized one thing—to make way for more milestones, we need to grow, and with growth comes decisions that may feel heavy now but might make more sense in the future.

With that said, we are closing Fresh Formula to focus on our sister (brand) Colourette Cosmetics and its last day of operations will be on December 31, 2021*. The next few months will be the last chance to get your treasured skincare items. We will still be here to answer your skincare q’s, to hear about your self-improvement journeys, and to guide you on the best stuff to do for your own healthy skin progress.
