When Korean boy group BTS released its new song "Butter," a new line of merchandise was released for it.

The merch included butter cookies, face mask, a hairpin set, hand mirror, badge set, shirt, pouch and many others.

But what caught almost every fan's attention was the black cardigan with the butter logo on the left chest area.

The cardigan, priced at $60.38 on the Weverse Shop app, comes with seven photo cards, one for each member. If you're a K-pop fan, you'll know the importance of photo cards, particularly those that come with limited edition albums and merchandise.

When Weverse Shop dropped the Butter merch, the cardigan sold out in less than 5 minutes.

The cardigan is nothing remarkable. It comes in black and is described as "as “a knitted cardigan with a regular fit that anyone can wear comfortably and fashionably.”

But it is exclusive and rare and will most likely become a collector's item.

According to the Guinness World Records, BTS has broken five world records over YouTube and Spotify.

The music video for "Butter" has broken the record for most viewers for the premiere of a video on YouTube, with 3.9 million concurrent viewers during its premiere on May 21. The song has also broken the record for most viewers for the premiere of a music video on YouTube.

These records, by the way, were previously already held by BTS with their Grammy-nominated single "Dynamite."

The song "Butter" also got a total of 108,200,000 views within 24 hours. The group broke the records for most-viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours and most-viewed YouTube music video in 24 Hours by a K-pop group.

On Spotify, Butter got 11 million global streams in one day, breaking the record of "I Don't Care" by Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran.

Meanwhile, BTS was spotted in outfits from the Alexander McQueen AW2021 collection in their recent TikTok videos and interview with Billboard on YouTube.
