Why we're sad 'Vincenzo' is ending
Sorry, we don't have any spoilers for "Vincenzo," which will have its last two episodes on Netflix this weekend. We don't even know if it will have a happy or a tragic ending.
The Korean drama, which stars actor Song Joong-ki as a Korean-born man who becomes a consigliere for a Mafia family in Italy, has had our attention since it started some 18 episodes ago because of the fast-paced action and the unexpected twists and turns of the story. Sometimes, some of these twists and turns are too incredible to be believed but we still love “Vincenzo.”
Here are the some of the reasons why we are sad that Vincenzo, a dark comedy, is reaching its conclusion:.
The sight of an angry Vincenzo Cassano (the name of Song Joong-ki's character) especially when he's striking that lighter friction wheel with his thumb. This means he is about to beat up or, gasp, kill someone. You have to admit that SJK looks extra-good when he is angry.
Jeon Yeo-bin, who plays Hong Cha-young, is someone who's a delight to watch. She is an excellent dramatic actress. We'll miss her and her fabulous suits and bags. We'd also love to know what the red lipstick she's wearing is.
Actor Kwak Dong-yeon did not smile a lot here but when he did, it gave us hope that Jang Han-seo had reasons to be happy and thus, it meant that he wasn't as evil as his brother.
The occupants of Geumga Plaza are an eclectic bunch but they're endearing characters and we love them all.
Ok Taecyeon is the villain who doesn't even have a good or soft side. We never knew he had it in him to act this evil.
Now let's talk about the most hated woman in "Vincenzo" and that's none other that Choi Myung-hee (played by Kim Yeo-jin). She may look like she has a half smile on her face and her outfits might be very plain but make no mistake about it, her character is vicious.
