Filipino beauty brand Issy & Co. has launched two new face bases and while we've only tried one of them two times, we're falling in love with it already.

Active Skin Tint is an oil-free tinted moisturizer with Niacinamide and broad spectrum UVB/UVA SPF 35 sunscreen. Issy & Co. describes it as a breathable and lightweight formula that gives a sheer hint of color.

So here's why we're loving this skin tint.

First, it's easy to apply. You can use your fingers or a flat Kabuki brush. Makeup artist Slo Lopez, beauty consultant for Issy & Co., said a sponge would not work as well.

Second, we love that the skin tint contains skin-caring ingredients like Niacinamide, glycerin, squalene and sunscreen actives.

Third, it comes in six adaptable shades--Vanille, Fawn, Beech, Hazel, Brulee and Sienna. If you fall somewhere in between two shades, you can mix them to achieve your desired color.

Joel Martin Andrade, Issy & Co. creative director, said the Active Skin Tint and the talc-free Weightless Loose Powder, were supposed to included in Issy & Co.'s original line-up when the brand first launched but they took the longest to develop.

The oil-free skin tint dries to a powdery satin finish, not silicone-y. The coverage is very light and you can build it up to medium. You don't look like you're wearing makeup at all. It's very light but it makes the skin look better. Slo Lopez said you can even use it as a tinted primer. It also wears well because we had it on while cooking in a hot kitchen one day.
