Acer Launches Predator Orion 7000 For Gamers, Creators
Acer has announced an expansion on its Predator gaming line with the Predator Orion 7000, the industry’s first ever gaming desktop equipped with Intel’s 12th Gen “Alder Lake” desktop processors that will provide a big performance boost to gaming or content creation.
The Predator Orion 7000 has 64GB of DDR5-4000 RAM and a graphics card from NVIDIA RTX 3090 GPU. Its housing is made of a 19.8 x 19 x 8.6-inch high-tech hardware that features a transparent chassis. Tempered glass side panels show off the two 140 mm Predator FrostBlade 2.0 front fans and a third 120 mm exhaust rear fan. These are all tied together by a display range of customizable ARGB lighting colors and an AIO liquid CPU cooler.
Running out of space won’t be a problem because of the options that come with the Predator Orion 7000. Two PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSDs up to 1 TB each and two 3.5-inch SATA3 HDDs up to 3 TB each. You also get a 2.5-inch USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C hot swap drive bay.
Connectivity is made easy by Intel’s WiFi 6E (AX211) and 2×2 MU-MIMO tech, while a wide range of ports come in the form of three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type C, and two audio jacks at the front, and three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C, two USB 2.0 ports and three audio jacks at the back.
