Acer Partners with PUBG for Continental Series 2 APAC

After the successful and meaningful collaboration for the PCS Charity Showdown in May — the one that marked the start of the continental esports tournament series lined up this year — PUBG and Acer are coming together once more in the competition that will determine the third APAC region champion of 2020.

As the official sponsor, leading PC brand Acer will be providing a range of Intel-powered gaming devices to support the PCS2 APAC. The PUBG Continental Series is an online regional tournament structure organized by PUBG Corporation.

PCS2 APAC will run for three weeks starting on August 29 with 16 teams from Southeast Asia and Oceania. The Philippines' very own ArkAngel Predator will be battling it out with other teams from Indonesia, Malaysia, Oceana, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Participating esports athletes will get their hands on Predator's most powerful devices including Predator Triton 500. Powered by the latest 10th Gen Intel® Core™ processors for high-performance notebooks and up to NVIDIA® GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER™ or 2070 SUPER GPUs with Max-Q Design, the Predator Triton 500 is capable of taking on the toughest challenges. Backing up that power, up to 7.5 hours of battery life[2] allows for impressive productivity, making the notebook an excellent choice for working professionals who want to play, too. Its industry-leading 300 Hz IPS[3] panel with a 3 ms overdrive response time displays all the action in smooth and vivid detail, covering 100% of the sRGB color gamut while supporting wide-angle views. Make it one of the best devices to enjoy the excitement in the battleground.

Predator is currently holding a promo wherein buyers get a Free JBL Quantum One and Limited-Edition and APAC Predator League gaming chair for every purchase of a Triton 500. For more details of the event, please check out each regional official PUBG channel.
