Why you should watch 'True Beauty'
"True Beauty" is a popular webtoon that's been made into a TV drama in a high school setting by tvN. It takes on important issues like bullying, suicide and mental health.
"True Beauty" is the story of a girl named Im Ju-kyung (played Moon Ga-young) who sees makeup as her salvation from bullying and a boy named Lee Su-ho (Astro's Cha Eun-woo) who has a lot of emotional baggage due to things that happened in his life.

If that story line is not enough to get you hooked, here are more reasons to watch "True Beauty," which is on Viu where new episodes with sub-titles are uploaded weekly.
The second leads are as captivating as the lead stars
We love Hwang In-yeop, who plays Han Seo-jun, and Park Yoo-na, who plays the campus beauty Kang Su-jin. What we like about Park Yoo-na's character is that she is beautiful, strong and intelligent. Hwang In-yeop, who was in the drama "18 Again," has a face that's made for the big screen.
Kang Chan-hee's cameo
Kang Chan-hee or Chani of SF9 is an idol who has been acting since he was a child. His role here (it can be triggering for some people) is very small but definitely memorable and crucial to the story line. The camera loves Chani's face, to be honest.
Im Ju-kyung is a cool girl
Looks aren't everything. Without makeup, most people wouldn't call Im Ju-kyung beautiful but we think she's super-cool. She has lovely hair and is into horror comic books and rock music.
Cha Eun-woo sings
It's very seldom that a K-pop idol will sing in a drama that they're in but Cha Eun-woo will showcase his singing talent here.
It deals with friendship
There will be many lessons learned about friendships and how there relationships affect young people and the way they think.
